| Deacons - Serve as men who care. The world is filled with the multiple cries of people who hurt. People are lonely, lost, and confused. Having no foundation on which to stand and no north star by which to set their life's compass, many people are like derelict ships floating aimlessly at sea. Deacons have a place of service today that is un-parallel in Christian history. The positions of Pastor and deacon are the only positions appointed by the Word of God. The men in these positions should demonstrate to the church and community an ideal relationship of what a servant of God should be. Flowing through this is the healing and redemptive power of God. Pastors and deacons must adopt a team concept. For We are Partners Working Together for God" (1 Cor. 3:9) Be God's Man In God's Place Doing God's Work In God's Way |
